Summary

Live Photos Service is a game-changing service aims to change the traditional event photography service paradigm. With Live Photos Service, photographers will be able to share photos instantly during events. The service comes with image auto tuning function which photographers can deliver their photos to their client right after they click on the shutter. All guests at the event can view and download photos instantly by just scanning a QR code to access the live album from their mobile phone.

This new industry started in China in 2017, there are no other company start this outside of China yet, and all of the companies in China are using mobile phone attach to the camera, we are the first in the world that use in-camera FTP function to transfer the images without attach to any extra device/phone to the camera.

But currently there are very limited cameras that support in-camera FTP function, so we have options to use External Wireless Transmitter, WIFI SD Card and Mobile App (need to attach mobile phone to camera) to support almost any digital cameras.

We are using third-party mobile app for our service now, the app have limited cameras support and it doesn't built with FTP function, which need to install another FTP client app to do the image transfer. Hence, we are raising fund to create our own mobile app which have built-in FTP function and support to more cameras.

We are planning to add additional functions for the mobile app like in-app photo editing/cropping, and facial recognition for guest to view/download their own images only. Also, there will be a function which allow guest to upload their own selfie during the event.

Our service are ready for production usage and we are now looking for funding to create our own mobile app and add-on more features to the service. We hope you can back us up to this game-changing service and show to the world that Malaysian can make it happen!

Supported Cameras

Our service is using FTP (File Transfer Protocol) to transfer images from the camera to our server, there are few methods below which are available:

Built-in Wireless Transmitter: This is the best approach to use for Live Photos Service, to date, there are only very few models which have built-in wireless file transmitter function in the camera, which are Canon 5D Mark IV, Sony A7 III, Sony A7R III, Sony A7R IV and Sony A9. With built-in wireless file transmitter function, you don't have to attach any additional device to your camera, and can preview and select images directly from the camera to upload.

External Wireless Transmitter: This method require an external device to attach to the camera, in Canon called Wireless File Transmitter (WFT), and in Nikon called Wireless Transmitter (WT). Please find below for the cameras supported by WFT/WT.

• Canon 1DX Mark II, 1DS Mark II/III, 1D Mark III/IV, 5D Mark I/II/III, 7D Mark I/II, 5DS/R 
• Nikon D850, D500, Z7, Z6, D5, D4/D4S, D810/D810A, D800/D800E, D750, D7200, D7100, D7000, D7000, D300/D300S, D700, D3, D3S, D3X.

Mobile App Connection: This method require to connect the camera with a mobile phone via WIFI or USB cable.  We highly recommend to use with Android phone via USB cable which you can shoot and upload photos concurrently.

WIFI SD Card: This method can use any WIFI SD Card with "share" function in the app to upload the photos to Live Photos' server. For WIFI SD Card, we highly recommend the Toshiba FlashAir WIFI SD Card, because it has the "Internet pass thru mode" which allow the phone to have internet connection while connecting to the WIFI SD Card on Android Phone.
